NCM Modules from Eco power group has been widely used in Nissan Car Conversion in the New Zealand market
It was announced by Mr. Simon Bridges the Minister of Transport, Energy and Resources of New Zealand that the number of registered electric vehicles in New Zealand has exceeded 2,000 pcs which was the government's previous goal in 2016 and the government will set another goal to increase the number of electric vehicle registrations into 64,000pcs in 2022.
Mr. Simon Bridges declared that the government will continue to implement various measures of Electric Vehicle Program (EVP) to encourage more people in New Zealand to use electric vehicles because the benefits are obvious that it is cheaper than gasoline or diesel cars and it can be powered by New Zealand’s abundant renewable electricity to reduce the gas emissions. He also said that the increased import number of second-hand electric cars has also made the supply of electric vehicles more diverse and cheaper to meet the demand of individuals and businesses.
There are currently a large number around 300,000pcs of Nissan second-hand electric vehicles in New Zealand of which about 40% has reached the end of battery life and the remaining 60% is expected to reach the service period of battery system in next 8 years as well. Therefore, there is a huge demand for the conversion of original electric vehicles (especially Nissan electric vehicles) in the market considering the battery system ends but other parts of the electric car can continue to be used for a long time.
